Acne has a nasty habit of appearing in the most prominent part of the body, the part which is almost permanently exposed, the face. Short of changing religion, there is nothing that can be done to hide it. So curing it is the right idea.
There are a number of ways how to get rid of acne and it has to be done from the inside and out. There is no magic potion or pill, that you put on one night and wake up to find the acne gone, and even dangerous drugs like reacutan take time to work. Trial and error on your skin can be dangerous, so best find a skin cleansing and moisturizing product that is safe to use on acne, and start using it, then get fastidious about keeping your skin clean.
As much as the skin needs to be clean and treated, so does the digestive tract to purify the blood. Drink water, eat fresh fruit and vegetables and fiber, and education is vital. Bad habits soon go and good habits replace them in perpetuity if this is kept up.
Acne is a health problem, it is not who you are, to overcome the feeling that you are your acne, learn as much as you can about managing it, and you will manage it with the right level of determination.
